Audible.com Chooses Ivanhoe for its First Health News Podcast

ORLANDO, FL (January 10, 2006) -- Ivanhoe Broadcast News, the nation's leading independent producer of medical news, and Audible.com, the leading premium spoken audio source on the Internet, announce the launch of a podcast subscription service in late January.

The first podcasts include a series of reports covering the latest breakthroughs in back pain treatment reported by Ivanhoe Broadcast News. In addition to offering the free 3-minute audio versions of these reports, the full-length doctor interviews will be available on a subscription basis. The interviews with leading back pain experts in the country provide in-depth information on new procedures and treatments for back pain, which affects millions of people each year.

"Health is important to our listeners and we are very pleased to have Ivanhoe as a charter podcast publisher," says John Federico of Audible.com.

"We're excited about being selected by Audible.com for our extensive health library and providing consumers compelling health news in a podcast environment," says Marjorie Bekaert Thomas, Ivanhoe CEO. "This partnership will help online medical news continue its dynamic growth."

Every month, Ivanhoe will update its podcast offering with free and paid health news on high-interest topics including diabetes, cancer, heart disease, fibromyalgia and neurological disorders. To listen to a Medical Breakthrough report by Ivanhoe, go to http://www.ivanhoe.com/podcast.
